Students who, in conjunction with an Arts & Science degree in a different subject, take 18 credit units or more of Mathematics courses will receive a Minor in Mathematics. At least 3 credit units must be at the 300- or 400-level. Courses listed under the “C4 Major Requirement”, “J4 Major Requirement”, “M4 Core Requirement” or “M5 Major Requirement” of the student’s program Major cannot be used to meet requirements for the Minor. In addition, the following courses may not be used to meet the requirements of the Minor:
- MATH 101.3
- MATH 102.3
- MATH 104.3
- MATH 125.3
- MATH 150.3
The Minor average in Mathematics will be calculated using the grades earned in all courses eligible to be included in the Minor program requirements. Students must complete at least two-thirds of the program requirements (rounded to the nearest highest multiple of 3 credit units) using courses offered by the University of Saskatchewan to meet the Residency requirement.
