Admission Requirements
- Language Proficiency Requirements: Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants and for applicants whose first language is not English.
- A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (USask grade system equivalent) in the last two years of full-time study (e.g. 60 credit units USask equivalent).
- A professional degree in a relevant health sciences field (D.M.D., DDS, M.D., RN, PT, or equivalent), from a recognized university, or a four-year honors degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study.
- A statement of academic intent

Indigenous Applicants
One admission space is reserved for qualified, self-identified First Nations, Metis, or Inuit applicant.
Female Applicants
Two to three admission spaces will be reserved for qualified female applicants.
Degree Requirements
- GPS 960.0
- GPS 961.0, if research involves human subjects
- GPS 962.0, if research involves animal subjects
- a minimum of 9 credit units at the 800-level, approved by the Advisory Committee
- thesis defense
All students must maintain continuous registration in the following courses:

- DENT 994.0
