The Forest Resources Certificate will provide students with a strong understanding of forest resources in Saskatchewan complemented by experiential learning opportunities. The certificate consists of three core course requirements to promote ecological classification, landscape dynamics, and data collection in forested settings. 12 additional credit units are required that augment student interests related to forest measurements and techniques, modelling, planning, hydrology, and ecological restoration which align with optional accreditation concentrations
according to Forest Professional Regulators of Canada guidelines.
