The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum Studies addresses the relationship between practice and theory in curriculum research, design, implementation, evaluation, and leadership. Those choosing to pursue a Masters of Education in Curriculum Studies will be encouraged to focus on aspects of praxis leading to expertise and leadership in that aspect. Please consult the Department of Curriculum Studies for more information.

Compared to the thesis-based M.Ed., students in the course-based M.Ed. may not be as well equipped for further graduate studies in the area of Curriculum Studies.

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education is offered by the College of Education through a cross-departmental Ph.D. program.

For more information on this field of study, see the Department of Curriculum Studies website.
