St. Thomas More College (STM) is a Catholic liberal arts college federated with the University of Saskatchewan (USask).

Established in 1936, STM is the only federated college at USask. It is administratively and financially autonomous, but academically integrated within the university. STM classes are USask classes and count towards USask program requirements.

Discover a college community where you will be challenged to understand the world more completely, integrate observations with abstract concepts in various disciplines, and subject expectations to rigorous tests. We encourage you to think creatively and critically about social issues, learn to communicate effectively, present independent written products, and discover the links between your personal and professional ambitions, and the needs of our ever-changing society.

STM offers approximately 220 USask credit course offerings in the following subject areas: Archaeology; Catholic Studies; Classics; Classical, Medieval and Renaissance Studies; Critical Perspectives on Social Justice and the Common Good; Dene; Economics; English; French; History; Interdisciplinary Studies; Latin; Literature; Philosophy; Political Studies; Psychology; Religious Studies; Sociology; Spanish; and Ukrainian. To see a full listing of classes taught, certificate offerings, and programs coordinated by STM, please visit stmcollege.ca

Registration in STM classes is open to any USask student through PAWS.  STM course credit is counted toward the requirements of Arts and Science degrees, and in many cases, satisfies the elective requirements in other USask degree programs. STM classes have section numbers between 60 and 79 with the majority held in STM classrooms. For official course entries, please visit the Course Descriptions section of this Catalogue.
