Currently, research interests in the department include: diagnostic pathology, pathogenesis of infectious disease in poultry and mammals, mucosal immunity, innate immunity and disease resistance, viral oncogenesis, hematological disorders, wildlife diseases and toxicopathology related to environmental contaminants in wildlife.
